Often we seek psychotherapy to work on our self-esteem, to learn how to create satisfying relationships, and to get help with workplace stress. In regards to workplace stress, I found the following article by Judith Humphrey extremely poignant. Humphrey interviews Dr. Simon-Thomas, a researcher at UC Berkeley, on the four key steps to creating happiness at work.
The four steps are:
- Intentionally Savour the Good Times
- Find (or Create) Purpose in Your Work
- Improve Your Resilience
- Practice Kindness
