Four Steps to Experience More Happiness at Work

Often we seek psychotherapy to work on our self-esteem, to learn how to create satisfying relationships, and to get help with workplace stress.  In regards to workplace stress, I found the following article by Judith Humphrey extremely poignant.  Humphrey interviews Dr. Simon-Thomas, a researcher at UC Berkeley, on the four key steps to creating happiness at work.

The four steps are:

  1. Intentionally Savour the Good Times
  2. Find (or Create) Purpose in Your Work
  3. Improve Your Resilience
  4. Practice Kindness
