Welcome to my website and my practice where all are welcome.
I honor your courage to seek therapy and as a result, work with compassion and an unrelenting focus on the task at hand. With over 20 years of clinical experience, my specialties include helping clients with relationships, self-esteem, work/life satisfaction, and grief.
My approach is active and dynamic, and I encourage my clients to be collaborative so that we can reach their goals as quickly as possible. By working collaboratively, you can come out of each session with a more thorough understanding of yourself and a stronger sense of control over your life.
As an adjunct professor at the Catholic University of America and faculty at the Washington School of Psychiatry, I stay up to date on the latest research to inform my practice.
My clients have described me as warm and compassionate yet at the same time relentless and extremely focused. I am trained in a number of modalities and as a result, I try to tailor each session to my clients’ needs. If I notice a certain modality would be helpful that I do not specialize in, I have a large network of vetted colleagues whom I reach out to for tailored recommendations.
